POLINA KULIKOVA (Russia)

Winner IPC 2018

Undisputed Winner with unanimously verdict of the international Jury at the 9th IPC FAUSTO ZADRA COMPETITION, the russian pianist Polina Kulikova is a winner of international piano and duo piano competitions, such as: Jacob Flier Piano Competition (USA), Franz Schubert Piano Duo Competition (Czech Republic), Piano Duo Competition in Bialystok (Poland), Taneyev Chamber Music Competition (Russia), Lotar-Shevchenko Piano Competition (Russia) etc. She also worked as an official accompanist of the XV International Tchaikovsky competition (Russia). Ms. Kulikova studied at the P. Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow and Mannes School of Music in New York. She studied under the guidance of the world famous musicians: V. Feltsman, V. Gornostaeva, S. Glavatskikh, A. Bonduryansky, N. Rubinstein, M. Puryzhinsky. She performs regularly in the USA,Russia, Europe. In 2018 Ms. Kulikova played her Debut recital at the Carnegie Hall (New York). Her vast repertoire encompasses music from the Baroque to 21st-century composers.

SERENA VALLUZI (Italy)

2nd Prize Winner IPC 2018

Serena Valluzzi inizia gli studi musicali a quattro anni e a diciassette consegue il diploma in pianoforte presso il Conservatorio di Bari. Nel 2015 consegue la laurea di II livello in pianoforte solistico con il massimo dei voti, lode e menzione presso lo stesso Conservatorio, sotto la guida di Maurizio Matarrese. Ha seguito corsi di perfezionamento e seminari con François Joel Thiollier, Benedetto Lupo e Roberto Prosseda. Attualmente studia con Enrico Pace presso l’Accademia di Musica di Pinerolo. Si esibisce regolarmente in recital come solista, in duo pianistico col fratello Davide e in formazioni cameristiche, ottenendo sempre lusinghieri consensi di pubblico in Italia e all’estero. A soli quattordici anni ha debuttato con orchestra eseguendo il Concerto K 466 di Mozart. Il primo debutto all’estero è stato invece in Romania, dove ha eseguito la Rapsodia sul tema di Paganini op. 43 di Rachmaninov. Ha vinto la 55a edizione del prestigioso Concorso pianistico internazionale “A. Speranza” di Taranto e ha ottenuto altri importanti riconoscimenti, tra cui il 2° Premio al Concorso internazionale “San Donà di Piave” 2017, il 4° al Premio Venezia 2012, il 1° assoluto al “Giulio Rospigliosi” 2014 di Lamporecchio, il Premio speciale per il miglior semifinalista italiano al Concorso internazionale per pianoforte e orchestra “Città di Cantù” 2016. Attualmente è stata selezionata per uno stage di formazione come maestro sostituto presso il Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.

DANYLO SAIENKO (Ukraine)

3rd Prize Winner IPC 2018

Danylo SAIENKO 1991 in Lviv / Lemberg (Ukraine) was born. He began playing the piano at the age of six years. He graduated from the prestigious specialized Salome Krushelnytska Music School for Gifted Children in Lviv / Lemberg (Ukraine) in the piano class ofYuri Moysyak. In 2009 Danylo Saienko at the State Mykola Lysenko National Music Academy in Lviv / Lemberg (Ukraine) has been accepted in the piano class of Prof.Yozif Ermine. Since 2014 he studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg with Prof. Anna Vinnizka. He received awards in the following competitions: International Vladimir Horowitz Piano Competition in Kiev (2012) – 6 Price, Emil Gilels International Piano Competition in Odessa (2012) – 3rd prize, International Mykola Lysenko Competition in Kiev (2012) – 4th prize. He received the award “Zlotyj Parnas” the Piano Forum Festival (Sianok, Poland 2011). He received the diploma “Finalist” in“Valsesa Muska”Piano Competition in Varallo (Italy, 2013) and the S.Stancic Piano Competition in Zagreb (Croatia 2014). He also participated in the following competitions: International F. Liszt Piano Competition (Budapest 2011), International Maria Canals Piano Competition (Barcelona, 2013), International Piano Competition Ignac Paderevski (Bydgoszcz, Poland 2013) Danylo Saienko recently won the 2015 International Piano Competition “GIORGOS Thymis” in 2015 in Greece and Maria Canals in Spain. He is 3rd Prize Winner of the 9th IPC FAUSTO ZADRA 2018.
